The making of feeding tray and nest boxes

Winter is back! And birds need to keep their bodies warm, that is to say that their body temperature has to be kept steadily high from 104°F up to 112°F, and to do this, birds need a rich and plentiful food resource. However frost and snow more particularly make the searching for food much more difficult. During winter a starving bird can die in three days only. The feeding (by human beings) may be a good solution only if it is used in a moderated way, otherwise birds can rapidly become dependent on this food resource. Nest boxes give the birds, which usually live in caves, a place to stay and reproduce, especially in areas where food is plentiful, but nesting sites scarce.
